Let A be a partial *-algebra endowed with a topology that makes it into a locally convex topological vector space AA]. Then A is called a topological partial *-algebra if it satisses a number of conditions, which all amount to require that the topology ts with the multiplier structure of A. Besides the obvious cases of topological quasi *-algebras and CQ*-algebras, we examine several classes of potential topological partial *-algebras, either function spaces (lattices of L p spaces on 0; 1] or on R, amalgam spaces), or partial *-algebras of operators (operators on a partial inner product space, O*-algebras).

Subcategories of topological algebras
In addition to exploring constructions and properties of limits and colimits in categories of topological algebras, we study special subcategories of topological algebras and their properties. In particular, under certain conditions, reflective subcategories when paired with topological structures give rise to reflective subcategories and epireflective subcategories give rise to epireflective s...

We introduce the weak topological centers of left and right module actions and we study some of their properties. We investigate the relationship between these new concepts and the topological centers of of left and right module actions with some results in the group algebras.

متن کاملON TOPOLOGICAL EQ-ALGEBRAS
In this paper, by using a special family of filters $mathcal{F}$ on an EQ-algebra $E$, we construct a topology $mathcal{T}_{mathcal{mathcal{F}}}$ on $E$ and show that $(E,mathcal{T}_{mathcal{F}})$ is a topological EQ-algebra. First of all, we give some properties of topological EQ-algebras and investigate the interaction of topological EQ-algebras and quotient topological EQ-algebras. Then we o...
